This is a website to help Japanese residents in Indiana navigate the health care system and stay healthy in the US.

This site contains a variety of information for health promotion and the U.S. health care, including a basic of U. S. health insurance and navigating local health care system, medical emergency, English communication with health care providers, prenatal care and child birth, child health, adult health, oral health and mental health.

There are a number of Japanese expatriates who came to Indiana for job, family, studying and research. People from abroad often struggle with accessing the U.S. health care system. Japanese expatriates also experience challenge understanding and navigating the local health care system due to the language barrier, the great difference in health care structure between Japan and the U.S. and the intricacy of U.S. health insurance.

I hope this website empower the local Japanese people to become more proactive with their health and health care utilization.
